A story about getting lost.

(Matthew 18:11) For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

(John 17:12) While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

(John 18:9) That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.

(2 Corinthians 4:3) But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

(John 6:12) When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

(Luke 19:10) For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

(Matthew 5:13) Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

(Matthew 10:6) But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

(Matthew 15:24) But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

(Mark 9:50) Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

All who wander are not lost. In terms of the natural realm, in terms of space and time, that may be entirely true. We have maps, compasses, gps, and all kinds of modern day navigational items. In terms of the things we can see with our senses we have this mortal sphere mapped out pretty well. But at the same time new things are being discovered all the time and the things that we thought we knew, we are finding that we did not know as well as previously thought. The earth was flat for centuries and the idea was vehemently defended as absolute truth. When it comes to the realm of the invisible, the world would have you to believe that there is no way to know with certainty what lies beyond the senses. But this is far from the truth. Infact, we have a more sure word that will never pass away. We have a road map and the path is to eternal life. Life more abundant and true that starts at the moment of decision. The realm beyond is mapped out with precision, if one dare travel the narrow road. The idea of eternity, of life never ending, is mind boggling, perplexing, and mind bending, to say the least. If such a thing were true, and it is, that would mean that life would be the real one. That would mean that, that life is the true substance and this one is the shadow. This life is the test, and the test is so simple most fail it. The test is the same one given to Adam. It is the test of choice. Will you choose to believe or refuse and go your own way? If you have ever failed at anything, and we all have. If you have ever seen an optical illusion that you thought was true but it wasn't, and we all have, then maybe what you now see, isn't what you thought it was. Wander no more. Don't just take my word for it. Pick up a New Testament, read for your self and I believe that the Holy Spirit will illuminate its pages and will make the content jump off the page and become a living reality in your life today. In Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen.

(Exodus 22:9) For all manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for any manner of lost thing, which another challengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges; and whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour. (Leviticus 6:3) Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein: (Leviticus 6:4) Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found, (Numbers 6:12) And he shall consecrate unto the LORD the days of his separation, and shall bring a lamb of the first year for a trespass offering: but the days that were before shall be lost, because his separation was defiled. (1 Samuel 9:20) And as for thine asses that were lost three days ago, set not thy mind on them; for they are found. And on whom is all the desire of Israel? (1 Kings 20:25) And number thee an army, like the army that thou hast lost, horse for horse, and chariot for chariot: and we will fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they. (Isaiah 49:20) The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell. (Isaiah 49:21) Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been? (Jeremiah 50:6) My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace. (Ezekiel 19:5) Now when she saw that she had waited, and her hope was lost, then she took another of her whelps, and made him a young lion. (Ezekiel 34:4) The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them. (Ezekiel 34:16) I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment. (Matthew 18:11) For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. (Mark 9:50) Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another. (Luke 14:34) Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? (Luke 15:4) What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? (Luke 15:6) And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. (Luke 15:9) And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. (Luke 15:24) For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. (Luke 15:32) It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found. (John 18:9) That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none. (2 Corinthians 4:3) But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Rom 10:9-13)
